P7 Phones – Permission Granted!!

Mr Quigley and Mrs Snedden have given permission for P7 pupils to be able to take their phones to school tomorrow, Thursday 4th of July so pupils may take pictures and capture their final memories at MOL as P7. Phones may be used in class with friends and staff but will need to stay in Mr Harris/Miss Hutcheson’s classroom at break time for safe keeping.

A wee reminder that P7 pupils may take an old t-shirt or jumper for friends to sign on their last day.

A Note for P7

With only 3.5 days left of primary school for P7 I wanted to pop up a few reminders.

Chromebooks

Please ensure you take your Chromebook AND your charger to school on Monday. We will keep Chromebooks and chargers in school for the rest of the week. When you start at The I.R.A/Millburn in August you will be issued with a new Chromebook.

Art Folders

Please return the empty art folders to Miss Hutcheson on Monday.

P7 Water Party – Monday 1st July, 6:30pm – 8:00pm

P7 are invited to return to school at 6:30pm for their leaver’s party. P7 should arrive in clothes that they are happy to get wet in. P7 are encouraged to bring their own water pistols, toys,  etc… Please remember to take a towel, full change of clothes and shoes to get changed into for going home dry. We will have a BBQ and party food.

P7 Leavers’ Assembly – Wednesday 3rd July, 1:45pm

A wee reminder to parents and carers that P7 will host their Leavers’ Assembly on Wednesday 3rd July, starting at 1:45pm. Doors will open at 1:30pm. Please enter the gym-hall via the doors at the canteen side of the hall. Aidan will be there to pipe you in!

P7 pupils, please remember to wear black/gray trousers, white top as well as your leaver’s hoodie for the assembly on Wednesday.

Homework

I am sorry that the homework was not issued on Friday. I was not in school and did not realise until a pupil asked for their homework jotter today.

Please do not worry about homework for this week. Obviously if you are keen to complete it I would be delighted but I do not expect it all to be completed in just one night.

Apologies once again,

Miss Hutcheson

A Message from Miss Sparling…

On Thursday Miss Sparling plans to make Bees Wax Wraps with P7A as part of their art lesson and learning about waist reduction, up-cycling and sustainability.

We would love if pupils have any old fabric materials such as old sheets/duvet covers/pillow cases (CLEAN) to bring them in so we are able to make a wide range of different bees wax wraps!

Many thanks,

Miss H 🙂
