Week 4 01.02.19

Cheerio Mr Tomlinson

Friday was a very busy day for P7A as we said cheerio to Mr Tomlinson who has been a student teacher with P7A for 8 weeks. We have all really enjoyed having Mr Tomlinson in P7A!! We’ve learned so much and especially with his music!

Thank you very much to the P7s who organised for surprise party for Mr T! He didn’t have a clue!!

Just a quick note to confirm there will be no homework for P7 this week! Mr Harris and I were too caught up with the open afternoon that we forgot to issue it! Sorry!

If anyone is desperate to do homework our times table of the week next week will be 6. Remember to think about multiplication and division questions.

We will be looking at Clans and families next week, do you have a family tartan?

In literary we will be learning about Tam O Shanter. Have you heard of Tam O Shanter, what can you tell me about the story.

Homework – Week 2

Please find attached the homework for this week.

One section is for parents to complete. We’ve had lots of discussion in class over the purpose and value of homework. I’d be really keen to hear what parents think. P7A will complete a pupil survey in school next week to gather their views too.

A wee reminder that P7 will host their open afternoon on Friday 25th January. Please  return the slip if you are planning to attend!

P7 Leavers’ Hoody forms have been issued, the deadline for returning forms along with payment is Friday 1 February.

Miss H. 🙂

P7 Party

Just a wee reminder that P7 are invited back to school this evening for their Christmas Party.

We have lots of exciting games, challenges, dances and good tunes planned. It’s sure to be a night to remember.

P7 are welcome to dress as they please. A reminder that we can not have stiletto heels in the gym hall as it damages the floor.

Doors open at 6:30pm. Carriages for 8pm.

Pupils will not be able to leave the party before 8pm unless collected by a parent or previously arranged with a P7 class teacher.

There is no charge for this event. 🙂
